Imagine sleeping peacefully in your bed. It’s quiet, and you’re pleasantly dreaming away the night — when all of a sudden you are yanked out of your slumber, pulled from your soothingly warm cocoon of blankets and thrust into a car with all your advisors and sisters. Well, that’s what happened to our Rainbow Girls this last month after some of the advisory board members hosted a Breakfast Kidnapping at Flakey Jakes for our members of Assembly #86. When I asked the young ladies about the breakfast, an ear to ear smile comes across their faces and stories of good times ensue. Congratulations on such a successful event!
Some upcoming events our Rainbow Assembly will be host- ing: On August 12th, It’s Dog Wash’n Time! From 10am to 2pm at 907 E. Chestnut Ave., Orange 92867, our Rainbow Girls will be washing dogs! If you don’t have one, find a neighbor who does and bring that pup down! It’s a guarantee that they will have fantastic snacks available while you wait. Bring a dog, your camera (and a towel) and come on out and meet some of our Rainbow Girls!
On August 13th, the ladies of Rainbow Assembly #86 are hosting an Open House Membership Event at Orange Grove Lodge beginning at 7pm. It’s a time for you to learn more about the organization of Rainbow for Girls, meet the members and advisors and arm yourself with information to help promote and encourage membership in a wonderful organization.
